9-day BAND OF BROTHERS

Everything was organized and ready to go, no snafus, no change of plans, all contingencies covered, a well oiled machine. George and Zoltan, our driver, had everything covered.

My wife and I just returned from the 9-Day Band of Brothers Tour, and it was one of the most meaningful experiences we have ever had. Like many people who take this tour, I had watched Band of Brothers and read about these events for years. But standing on Omaha Beach, walking through Bastogne, visiting the American cemeteries, and seeing these places in person brings history to life in a way that is difficult to describe. A big part of what made this trip so special was our guide, George, and our driver Zoltan. George’s knowledge of the history was outstanding, but what really stood out was his passion for sharing the stories of the men who fought here. He made every stop personal and meaningful. Our driver safely and professionally handled every mile of the journey while always being friendly and helpful. Together, they made an excellent team and took great care of everyone on the tour. We also had the pleasure of meeting owner Severine Diaz. It was clear from the moment we met her how much she cares about preserving the history of Normandy and ensuring her guests have an unforgettable experience. Her dedication is reflected throughout every aspect of the tour. One of the unexpected highlights for us was the visit to Mont-Saint-Michel. The setting is absolutely breathtaking, and learning about its history while exploring the island was an experience we will never forget. It was a wonderful addition to a tour already filled with remarkable locations and stories. There were many moments throughout the trip that were emotional and humbling. Standing among the graves at the American Cemetery and hearing the stories of sacrifice and courage serves as a powerful reminder of the price that was paid for the freedoms we enjoy today. This was much more than a sightseeing tour. It was an opportunity to learn, reflect, and honor the men and women who served during World War II. We returned home with a deeper appreciation for their sacrifices and memories that will stay with us for the rest of our lives. To George, congratulations on the upcoming birth of your daughter.
